Peacock feather inspired nails

I chose cute looking shades of polish to match my peacock feather inspired thumbnail as you can see below;

 

 

It was a little fiddly and took a while to build up the layers needed but Ta Da! Here's my first attempt at creating the look!

 

All together;

 

Overall I think quite successful... even if it does remind me more of a seaweed than a peacock feather!

Products used;

Avon nail brush/took

Mint nail polish

 

Navy polish

Gold polosh - Barry m 

Gold Glitter polish - saffron 

Gold, Pink & White Nails

I started with a few block colours...

 

 

 

 and added lines and (of course) glitter...

 

Threw a a couple of cute stars with a nail art pen and I'm done!

In light of my last post I was feeling particularly creative and made a cute Owl canvas for my sister. The canvas was created the same way, except most of it was free handed!

 

Little freehanded owl  

 

 

  Add a dash of glitter

 

 A few dashes more....

And voila, here he is!

Homemade DIY Glitter Canvasses

I was inspired to create these from really cute boards I see on Pinterest. Live, Love, Laugh is a simple quote that I really like so I decided to get creative...

The first two canvasses are a little messy

A bit of patience and a lot of glitter later I have finished all three!

The final look!

They are surprisingly easy to create and there is a lot of inspiration out there. The materials are reasonably cheap and easy to ge hold of so I'd recommend anyone give it a go!
